Operation Transformation:
Operation Transformation is the primary vehicle for impacting our community and reaching the next generation. At the center of this effort is our church/school partnerships.  These partnerships have provided our ministry the pathway to engage, equip, encourage and empower families on a broader scale and to share the love of Christ. Transformation Ministries and Projects have included feeding elementary age students weekly through Blessings In A Backpack, mentoring 4th and 5th grade boys in our Young Gents Mentoring Program, serving as a Teacher for a Day, packing and providing Thanksgiving Meals, and giving away Christmas toys at the Christmas Club Outreach Service for kids. Each year we get to take dozens of youth to summer camp, many for the first time ever.

Humble 20/20 Mentoring Opportunity and Training:
Mentoring makes a huge difference in the life of a student. Humble High School has asked that we provide 10 mentors along with with three other churches in the community to mentor 40 incoming freshmen.

Goal- 10 Mentors from Higher Expectations Church and partner ministries
Mentors can serve in two roles: Academic or Life Coach
Mentors will receive training, complete district background check information, and commit to one hour a week of mentoring.
Humble HS will select 20 girls and  20 boys from the Freshman Class to participate in the mentor program.

Public School Outreach:

This approach is practical—to use church and public school partnerships to affect positive social change in the community. Through Operation Transformation we engage students and families with social services aimed at impacting their lives for the better thereby impacting our community. The process is simple and impactful.  As individuals learn to think differently and hope for better tomorrows, they are able to rise above their negative circumstances and act on opportunities that will improve their lives.  Communities thrive when people possess and apply a healthy value and belief system to their everyday lives.
